Design of Samsung Galaxy Mega is same like Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. Butt small in size than Mega 6.3, but not too small. It is larger than Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Other things in design are same as in other Galaxy Smartphones i.e. power button on the right side, volume rocker on the left side, headphone slot at top side and USB slot on bottom side same.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 has a 5.8 inches screen that is the main characteristic of the smartphone. It has TFT LCD panel and acquired a resolution of 960 x 540 that is a less promising providing a pixel density of just 190ppi. Screen quality of Samsung Galaxy Mega is not bad but the drop in resolution is very prominent due to the reduced sharpness. It has many deficiencies like text and graphic components seem slightly blurred out at the corners.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 has Android Operating System Version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with the updated version of TouchWiz.
